Boglárka Boruzs’ microcosm entitled Zárvány (inclusion of foreign element) is wedged into a store space in the Klauzál tér Market Hall. The eroding traces of the exhibited paintings seep beyond the borders of the canvas, spreading like an infection on the walls.

The objects evoke viral associations, as they organise themselves from the fragments of found items and electronic waste. Their material diversity organically creates the alienating surfaces of the biomes. In these abandoned parallel realities, only the indifferent presence of a few creatures is discernible: in their crumbling nests, they keep watch without senses. Through her experiments, the artist explores how procedural 3D modelling and printing, as well as the use of AI-based text-to-image softwares, can be incorporated into the world-making process that composts pop-cultural matter, and how the resulting „glitches” can decentralise the fixed, directorial position of the creator.
